AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Engineer ash-Shimmari, talking to Dr Mohsen Rezaei, stressed that al-Nujaba Movement, as a part of the Resistance Axis, is proud of Iran’s victories, and then said, “The US forces have been forced to establish their bases in faraway deserts so that there be a long distance between them and the positions of the Resistance Forces.”
According to the report of al-Nujaba’s Centre for Relations and Media Affairs in Iran, the spokesman of al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance met and talked to the secretary of the Expediency Discernment Council in Tehran.
In the course of the visit, engineer Nasr ash-Shimmari, pointing to the achievements of the Republic of Iran, stated, “We regard ourselves a part of the Resistance Axis, and the same as other Muslims, we are proud of Iran’s victories.”
He further noted, “The US much pressured Iraq to follow the US sanctions against Iran, and unfortunately, some politicians made attempts for the fulfilment of this end; but, following the election, the Iraqi officials reiterated that Iraq would never observe anti-Iran sanctions. And it is not possible, as Iran and Iraq share the same beliefs, similar geography, sources of emulation. Therefore, it is not possible to create divisions between these two countries.”
Al-Nujaba’s spokesman continued, “Following the disagreement of Baghdad with the sanctions imposed against Iran, the US emissaries told our officials that the position adopted by Iraq in this regard shows it has turned to a part of Iran’s axis. Formation of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq and its battle against occupiers and the ISIS have created a new culture in this country.”
Ash-Shimmari added, “Now, The US forces have been forced to establish their bases in faraway deserts so that there be a long distance between them and the positions of the Resistance Forces.”
Saying that the new plan of the US Congress for imposing sanctions against the allies of Iran is a new plot aiming at assuming dominance over Iraq, he explained, “The members of the Iraqi parliament have similarly threatened Washington with severing the ties and expelling the US ambassador.”
According to the deputy secretary-general of al-Nujaba, the members of the Iraqi parliament have prepared a time-schedule for the retreatment of the US forces from Iraq, however, the speaker of the parliament has put the plan aside, but if this action is demanded by people, it will be examined and pass the parliament.”
Closing the talk with Dr Mohsen Rezaei, finally, engineer ash-Shimmari pointed out, “When Iran was struck by floods, al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance initiated a relief campaign and the Iraqi nation presented their aids to this campaign. The relief convoy of al-Nujaba was highly welcomed in the flood-stricken areas and we found that the Iraqi and Iranian people are a single united nation.”
