Despite the hostile step taken by the US, insertion of al-Nujaba into the blacklist of terrorism, the Europe’s delegation met and negotiated with the officials of al-Nujaba’s office in the strategic port of Basra.

According to the report of AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA), the attempts made by al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance for providing public services, has turned this Iraqi group to a reference organization in this regard.

And despite the hostile step taken by the US, insertion of al-Nujaba into the black list of terrorism, the delegation of the Europe, coming to Basra in order to do some relief and social programs in the deprived region of al-Qibla, attended the office of al-Nujaba in this strategic port and met and negotiated with the officials of the Movement.

The ambassador of the European Union in Iraq, Ramon Blecua, stated, “in order to provide people with helps, we cooperate with different popular groups, regardless of their organizational approach and details. The US has made different decisions, but the Europe has not followed all of them; as they exited the nuclear deal with Iran and we disapproved of their act”.

The head of European delegation added, “our approach is social and nonpolitical. Our purpose is to help Iraq and eradicate deprivation from al-Qibla region. The European Union is ready to cooperate with different groups, active in providing social services, such al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance”.

Analysts have assessed the presence of the European delegation in the office of al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance in Basra and doing negotiations with this Jihadi group as a sign of confrontation of the European Union with the US sanctioning policy adopted against al-Nujaba.
