AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Prominent Iranian Shia cleric sent congratulatory message to Pope Francis in the wake of the birth anniversary of Christmas stressing that the world needs to follow the path of Jesus Christ (PBUH).

Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, manager of Iran seminaries, in a message extended congratulations for Christmas felicitating world Christians and Muslims on birth anniversary of Jesus Christ (PBUH).

The cleric in his letter hailed the heavenly messengers for calling people to their promise with Almighty God alleviating sufferings and healing their pains.

Shia cleric also praised the messengers for eliminating darkness from the lives of true followers and quoted holy Qur’an on birth of Jesus Christ (PBUH) noting the prophet as one of the best messengers whose birth had been promised to the world.

According to the Muslim scholar those loyal to Jesus Christ (PBUH) did not bow to emperors rather assisted the oppressed.

“And to what extent is the present and future world is urging for the fair path of Jesus Christ (PBUH)” said the cleric and added,” So that the world is filled with pleasant messages of messengers from Almighty God and the way for his appearance is paved”

Iranian cleric sent the message to Pope Francis on the advent of Christmas felicitating world Christians on the happy occasion.
