(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Dozens of extremist Jewish settlers under Israeli army protection Saturday stormed and attacked the village of al-Tawana, in Masafer yatta area to the south of Al-Khalil (Hebron), in the southern West Bank, said a local activist.
Rateb al-Jabour, coordinator of the popular committee against the separation wall and settlements, reported a group of extremist settlers from the illegal Israeli settlement of Ma’on stormed the village of al-Tawani and and attacked villagers and their homes with rocks.
The village locals managed to fend off the attack and forced settlers out of the village. No injuries were reported.
