(AhlulBayt News Agency) - The Iranian Majlis (Parliament) National Security and Foreign Affairs Commission has condemned a US Congressional bill aimed at imposing sanctions on Iraq's Harakat Hezbollah Al Nujaba, calling it a hostile act by Washington and an indication of US failure and inaction.
The board of speakers and members of the Iranian Parliament commission for the National Security and Foreign Policy, through separate statements responded to the US Congress bill imposing sanctions on Hezbollah al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance.
According to the report of Hezbollah al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Media and Relations Office in Iran, the members of the Iranian Parliament Commission for the National Security and Foreign Policy, condemning the US Congress bill imposing sanctions on al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance, called this hostile action a sign of Washington’s defeat and inability.
Boroujerdi: The charge of terrorism fits the US the best and not al-Nujaba
Pointing that the Americans label the independent revolutionary groups in different countries with terrorism in order to make them passive, the chief of the Iranian Parliament Commission for the National Security and Foreign Policy said: “Today, different from the past, all the world knows that the biggest supporter of the terrorist groups in the word is the US itself”.
“Sayyed Alaeddin Boroujerdi” added: “The US supports ISIS, and in the final rounds of this terrorist group’s defeat, it provided the members of the said group with helicopters to escape”.
He stressed: “It shouldn’t be surprising to us if the US labels a militia like Hezbollah al-Nujaba with terrorism. This title fits the US the best as it fully supports terrorists worldwide”.
Firoozabadi: Iran backs al-Nujaba against the US and Israel
The Vice chief of the National Security Commission described the US action against Hezbollah al-Nujaba similar to Washington attempts for securing the existence of the usurper Zionist regime, and then added: “The US attempts to unite the US-dependent region countries, including Saudi Arabia and UAE, and uses their funds to launch propaganda against the Islamic Resistance, ensuring the security of Israel and sparking wars in the Islamic countries”.
“Kamal Deghghani Firoozabadi” continued: “The US also uses political and economic means such as sanctions in order to weaken the Resistance front and groups like Hezbollah al-Nujaba”; “and it is due to the fact that the Resistance front is developing and the logic of defending the oppressed people and standing against the oppressing powers is internationally welcomed”.
He finally stressed on the Islamic Republic of Iran’s full support for the Resistance front against the enemies’ ambitions.
Hassanbeigi: Hezbollah al-Nujaba has recognised the strategies and tactics of the US
Regarding the US’s hostility against the Islamic resistance, the other vice president of the Iranian Parliament Commission for National Security said: “All the world and the public opinion now know that the US, using the media giants, propaganda and political means, attempts to falsely introduce the groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah and al-Hashd al-Shaabi, supported by their own countries and fighting for the freedom of their own countries and presenting martyrs, as terrorist”.
“Abulfadl Hassanbeigi” added: “Today the nations of the region can realise the benevolent from malevolent, and they know well that the forces and groups such as al-Nujaba are popular and fight for the security of their own people and also to defend them. Therefore the US won’t achieve its ambitions and this sanction bill will bear no result for them”.
He continued: “The US has always feared the highly zealous and brave youth who defend and protect their countries’ national interests and sovereignty. Al-Nujaba movement is also a popular group composed of some young volunteers who have accurately realised the strategies and tactics of the US and therefore, they stand against them. “
Nobandegani: The US tries to weaken al-Nujaba for the support of Israel
The secretary general of the Iranian Parliament Commission for the National Security and International Policy said: “In recent years, the US has been seriously trying to change the geopolitics of the Middle East, and in this regard, it has determined some specific aims regarding Syria and Iran and accounts on them”.
“Muhammad Javad Jamali Nobandegani” added: “Whoever doesn’t know that Israel is the most prominent example of the state terrorism in the world? In the international assemblies, the US hypocritically declares that is fighting against terrorism, however, this country saved the ISIS leaders and carried them to secure places. They aim at breaking up the countries of the region so that they don’t be a threat to the Zionist regime”.
He continued: “The US tries to weaken al-Nujaba and other Resistance groups through the sanction means, though they are fighting against the terrorist groups, the US, Israel and their allies in the region”.
Naghavi: al-Nujaba is a threat to the US interests
The spokesman of the Iranian Parliament Commission for the National Security and Foreign Policy, criticising the US on entering al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance to its blacklist with the excuse of terrorism, stated: “If the actual terrorists act for securing the US interests, their names will enter to no blacklist, yet if groups, such as al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance, take any step for the independence of their nations/countries, they will definitely be regarded as threats to the US interests, and then they will be labelled with terrorism.
“Sayyed Hussein Naghavi Husseini”, pointing to the pressure of the world suppressing powers on the Islamic Republic of Iran to prevent and dissuade it from supporting the Resistance Groups, stressed that “the Islamic Consultative Assembly won’t let the enemies achieve their aims”.
Kavakebian: The US sanction will definitely increase the popularity of al-Nujaba
In this regard, the member of the Iranian Parliament Commission for the National Security and International Policy said: “Hezbollah al-Nujaba, the same as other liberation movements in the world, drive the suppressing powers and the US to fury”.
“Mustafa Kavakebian” added: “the Americans see the existence and activities of the movements such as Hezbollah al-Nujaba against their interests, accordingly no options remain to them but resorting to confining these movements, and putting them on the sanction lists”.
Assessing the hostile action of the US against al-Nujaba, he said: “In my opinion, the US sanctions will never be a blow to al-Nujaba, and inversely, they lead to the group’s increased popularity among the masses”.
Ghoddusi: With the resistance of Hezbollah al-Nujaba, the American are at the end of their rope
Pointing that the suppressing regimes, including the government and congress of the Us, are not qualified to define the criteria for “terrorism”, the member of the Iranian Parliament for the National Security and Foreign Policy stated: “They seal the sign of terrorism on the forehead of all the independence-seeking nations, states and movements”.
“Muhammad Javad Karimi Ghoddusi” added: “the Iraqi al-Nujaba movement, the Yemeni Ansarullah movement, the scholastic-revolutionary movement of Lebanon Hezbollah and other resistance movements worldwide, from Kashmir to Syria, Europe and Africa, if stand against the suppressing regimes, their leader will definitely become the target of sanctions and prosecution, as the Americans determined awards for the capture of al-Nujaba leader”.
Pointing to the US congress bill on al-Nujaba sanctions, he added: “Such measures against al-Nujaba Movement demonstrate that the American are at the end of their rope, and they are in their weakest status historically”.
The member of the Iranian Parliament Commission for the National Security and International Policy pointed out: “With the Heavenly favours and helps, this is a global movement and will develop steadily”. “As the supreme leader of the Islamic revolution said, “all the US bases in Hejaz, Bahrain, Kuwait, and ... Will be closed in the next years”. While the US forces were escaping from Iraq, they sent a representative to Tehran with a dedicated aircraft, and asked Iran for the security of the US forces convoy while leaving Iraq and being on the Basra-Baghdad road (so that they could leave without being targeted by the Iranian-backed groups). This is the fruit of the efficient performance of the resistance groups such as al-Nujaba
