(AhlulBayt News Agency) - For the second day in a row, the Turkish Army and their allies from the Euphrates Shield have launched a big assault inside the Rajou District in northwestern Afrin.
Backed by close air support from their military choppers, the Turkish Army and their rebel allies stormed the mountain overlooking Rajou, while another force attacked the YPG’s positions inside the district.
According to preliminary reports from this area, the Turkish Army and their allies have captured several points, despite heavy resistance from the YPG.
If the Turkish Army and their allies seize the Rajou District, they will have a clear path into the northwestern corridor of the Afrin Canton.
