Sarhad Qadir, Kirkuk Suburban Police Chief said that their forces managed to arrest a man who had been sentenced to 20 years in jail by the Criminal Court in absentia over murdering and targeting security members by detonating planted bombs.
The police chief said that the arrested terrorist was involved in the killing of three of his guards through a roadside bomb attack in 2012, adding that he was a member of Jaish al-Mujahideen, a terrorist organization present in Iraq before the ISIS.
He joined the ISIS group after it emerged in Iraq and was wounded in a battle after which he had been able to enter Kirkuk, Qadir said.
