A group of Australian Shia Muslims visit Imam Reza shrine

During the Unity Week and coincident with auspicious birthday anniversary of Hazrat Muhammad (S) and Imam Ja’far Sadeq (A), about 50 Shiite Muslims from Australia and New Zealand visited the Razavi Holy Shrine.

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - During the Unity Week and coincident with auspicious birthday anniversary of Hazrat Muhammad (S) and Imam Ja’far Sadeq (A), about 50 Shiite Muslims from Australia and New Zealand visited the Razavi Holy Shrine.

Supervisor of this caravan said, “The group of pilgrims who have traveled to Mashhad by contribution of Asra Institution for taking part in the short term courses on religious issues attended in the Razavi Holy Shrine to enjoy the special programs prepared for them by Office of Non-Iranian  Pilgrims.”

“By attending in the room 23 at western portal of the Razavi Holy Shrine, theses pilgrims made use of the lecture delivered by Hujjat al-Islam Soleimani concerning the importance of Imam Reza (A) pilgrimage ad the dominant features of the prophet (S)”, Sayed Hassan Sadr said.

Noting that most of the group youths are visiting the Razavi Holy Shrine for the first time, he added, “Each of these youths are preachers of Islam in their countries; so their presence in such a holy place can help greatly to the propagation of the religion.”

“I am very happy to be in the Razavi Holy Shrine on birthday anniversary of  Hazrat Muhammad (S) and Imam Ja’far Sadeq (A)”, said Shafiqa Mousavi, a member of the group who visited the Holy Shrine for the first time in 2013.

“I was wondering during the journey what I have done that has made me deserving to be invited again by Imam Reza (A) to his home”, she reiterated.

“Before I arrive in the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (A), I had many wishes to demand from Imam Reza (A) but as soon as I entered the  Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (A) and saw the Razavi sacred dome, I was so filled with a particular serenity that I forgot all my wishes”, she added.

“Servants of Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (A) respect the pilgrims highly and such a respect and veneration cannot be seen in any other pilgrimage place”, said the Australian pilgrim.

Noting that the Office of Non-Iranian pilgrims of the Razavi Holy Shrine hold for them a variety of programs including Islamic injunction class and the visit to the central museum, she added, “We were received in the Hazrat banquet house for the first time by attempt of this office.”

It is notable that Office of Non-Iranian pilgrims of the Razavi Holy dedicated Qur’an and Nahj al-Balaghah in English language to members of the caravan.
