The top emir for the ISIS in Palmyra (Tadmur) has been reportedly killed by the Syrian Arab Army’s “Tiger Forces” near the aforementioned desert-city on Friday morning.
According to the Tiger Forces’ official page on Facebook, the ISIS emir was identified as “Sultan bin ‘Abdel-Rahman” – his identification is currently pending as not much is known about the terrorist leader’s past or nationality.
‘Abdel-Rahman is the first ISIS commander to be killed during the Syrian Arab Army’s large-scale offensive in the Palmyra countryside.
