Syrian Army repels ISIS on village in al-Salamiyeh in which at least 8 people killed

An army unit, in cooperation with the popular defense groups and local residents, confronted an assault which terrorist groups launched against al-Mabouja village in the countryside of al-Salamiyeh in the central Hama province, a military source said Tuesday.

At least 8 people have been killed and 18 others injured in the terrorist attack.

The source told that the terrorists suffered heavy losses as the army members repelled the attack.

Earlier this month, takfiri terrorists perpetrated a massacre in al-Qanafez town in the eastern countryside of al-Salamiyeh city, killing five civilians leaving many others wounded.

In August, 2014, 7 siblings were killed in an attack by an armed terrorist group in al-Mzeiraa town in al-Salamiyeh countryside.
