Tehran’s Substitute Friday Prayers Leader Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami said here Saturday that the bullying powers are seeking to turn the Daesh invasion to Iraq into a war between Shiit and Sunni Muslims.
Addressing a local gathering, Ayatollah Khatami stressed that the arrogant powers are trying to cover up their repeated failures in Iraq and Syria.
He described the bullyersˈ failures as the main reasons behind all these evil acts, adding they have sent Daesh to the battle field to change the rules of the game.
The senior cleric stressed that the Iraqi people will give a crushing response to Daesh terrorists soon.
