Riyadh Specialized Court sentenced in prison two Shiite youths

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - On 10 February 2014, the Specialized Criminal Court of Riyadh sentenced the Shiite youth "Abdullah Ahmad al-Sa'eed" 24 years, from al-Awamiyah town in Qatif (a student at Institute of Public Administration Programs Department in Dammam ) to 10 years and a travel ban for the same period.

Al-Sa'eed was arrested in August 2012 by the members of security force  at the shopping mall of al-Rashed in Khbar city in Dammam because they found a photo of Sheikh al-Nemr in his mobile.  

In December 2013, Abdullah al-Sa'eed, was moved to the military hospital in the Eastern Province, due to the severe pains he felt because of the severe torture he faced in the prison of Dammam.

On  the other hand, the Court of Appeals overturned the release decision which had issued in October 2013, by the Specialized Criminal Court of Riyadh in behalf of the Shiite detainee "Mohammad Ali Mohammed Al-Mazra" 26 years, from Al-Awamiya town. The judge called for sentence against him 2 years in prison and a fine 50 thousand SR .

Mohammad Al-Mazra, was arrested in July 2013 with six of his brothers, when a security force surrounded their house searching his brother (the human rights activist Abbas Ali Mohammed Al-Mazra) who figured on a who figured on the list of 23 wanted issued by the Interior Ministry.
