Five Palestinians killed and 250 arrested by Israeli forces in October

Tadhamun Foundation for Human Rights said that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) killed five Palestinians and arrested more than 250 others during the month of October in different parts of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Tadhamun Foundation for Human Rights said that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) killed five Palestinians and arrested more than 250 others during the month of October in different parts of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.The researcher at the foundation Ahmed Beitawi pointed out that IOF soldiers killed five Palestinian citizens, including four in the West Bank and one in Gaza.Israeli daily arrests continued in different cities, villages and refugee camps in the West Bank and the border areas in the Gaza Strip. Tadhamun reported that the Israeli occupation forces arrested about 250 citizens, including two women and more than 50 children aged between 8 and 18 years old.Beitawi pointed out that the IOF escalated during the last month the campaign against Palestinian university students in the West Bank. They kidnapped 15 students at al-Najah University affiliated with the Islamic bloc, then released some of them and extended the detention of the others, while two of them were held in administrative detention.The IOF also arrested two Palestinian students studying abroad on their return home.Beitawi said the occupation forces arrested a number of liberated captives, Hamas leaders and two MPs from al-Khalil during October.They also arrested Mahmoud Shanti from Qalqilya, who works as a photojournalist for the Chinese news agency Xinhua./149
