Lebanese Sunni cleric warns against sectarian intrigues

A top Lebanese cleric warned against sectarian intrigues in the country saying that Lebanese should lead co-existence and national solidarity.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Sheikh Ahmad al-Qatan, head of a Lebanese political party say and Act Movement, stressed that Lebanese people have to live in co-existence, national and Islamic unity criticizing some movements for challenging the unity for their personal benefits.The Sunni cleric referred to the Resistance in this country and noted,” Everyone should maintain the fact that without Resistance, Lebanon cannot survive as a powerful, honorable and independent entity; therefore, we cannot demand it to submit its arms.” He said,” It is only through the Lebanese National Resistance Front that Lebanon can achieve success.” Lebanese Sunni scholar also referred to the new Premier in this country demanding him to spare no effort to form a powerful national government.End item/ 149
