Agency) - Thousands of people from all parts of Kargil gathered at Kargil town to mark the demise anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam Hassan (The 2nd Imam). In this regard a procession under the banner of IKMT Kargil was raised from Jamia Masjid Kargil after the prayers and ultimately concluded at Public Park Kargil. Thousands of people participated in the procession despite freezing temperature.
Speaking at the event scholars threw light on the importance of the day. Chairman IKMT in his speech condemned the Govt of Pakistan on it's silence on killings of Shia Muslims and condoled the family of the martyrs of Quetta Blast.
Mourners also chanted slogans in favour of Shia Muslims of Pakistan and expressed their solidarity with them.
