(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The conference was presided over by Dr Azmat Ullah Sultan, Chairman Anjuman Almi Tehreeq Panjtan Pak while Muhammad Akbari, Director General Khana Farhang Iran, Allama Ayaz Zaheer Hashmi, PPP leader BiBi Jan and Dr Ghazanfer Mehdi participated as guests of honor. Addressing at conference Allama Ayaz Zaheer Hashmi Central President National Peace Committee said that called upon the participants to fight evil elements by following in the footsteps of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and seek guidance from incident of Karbala followers the great Imam. Muhammad Akbari, Director General Khana Farhang Iran said that Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS), who upheld dignity of Islam by making unprecedented sacrifices along with his companions in Kabala, became a symbol of virtue while Yazeed emerged as representative of vice. Dr Azmat Ullah Sultan in his presidential address paid glowing tribute to Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and said, “We should remain steadfast against evil forces. We should make all possible efforts to make Pakistan an Islamic welfare state by acting upon mission of the Karbala martyrs. Later, Waqar Ahmed Resident Director RAC all the participants of conference which was also attended by Ulema of all schools of thought and intellectuals, a large number of citizens and notables of twin cities. The conference was also addressed by PPP leader Bibi Jan, Dr Ghazanfer Mehdi and other notable scholars.
