(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The General Coordinator of the Egyptian-International Coalition for Ending the Blockade and Rebuilding Gaza, Ahmad al-`Asi, stated that the political changes, that have taken place recently on the Egyptian arena after the January 25th revolution, would qualify the new Egyptian leadership to adopt a more active role to prevent any possible Israeli military aggression against the Gaza Strip.

"The situation now is different from what it was in the past, if Israel sought to launch a new military aggression against Gaza, the Egyptian reaction would be more positive than ever before comparing to the former regime's position, which was negative and very defeatist," al-Asi told Quds press.

"It must be Egyptian concrete responses to warn the Israeli entity for example threatening to cancel the bilateral agreements, especially the Camp David accords that threats the Egyptian national security and the security of the Arab countries, especially the current circumstances necessitate to fully cancel it and not only modify or reformulate it", he added.
