Israeli soldiers attack Korean delegation in al-Khalil

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) attacked on Saturday a Korean delegation in the city of al-Khalil in the southern West Bank.

IOF soldiers, stationed in the watchtower near the museum of the old town's city center, threw stones at the Korean delegates during their visit to the museum of the town, causing a state of panic and fear among them, PIC correspondence reported.

The delegates have been in the city for a week to document the suffering of the Palestinian citizens in the vicinity of the Israeli military camps and settlements.

Meanwhile, IOF troops closed on Saturday the military gate at the western entrance of Dura town, southern al-Khalil, under the pretext of providing security for the settlers.

Eyewitnesses told PIC that IOF closed the military gate near the Israeli barrier between the villages of Beit Awwa and al-Majd western Dura, closing the street leading to the Dura town near a Jewish settlement established on Palestinian lands in that area.

A number of Palestinian citizens had been beaten by Israeli soldiers and settlers near the settlement. IOF had closed the gate several times on Saturdays of each month.

IOF soldiers served a summons on Saturday to a citizen and raided a Palestinian house in the province of al-Khalil.

Local sources said that IOF handed the citizen Abdul Rahman Sultan a summons during raids carried out in the vicinity of the province in Karn Thawr neighborhood.

The sources added that military forces raided and searched the house of Khaled Robi in Dura, southern the city, before withdrawing.
