(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Noam Chomsky, the famous American theorist argues that presence of 120 member states in Tehran summit is a proof to peacefulness of Iran's nuclear activities.
In an interview with public services Europe, Noam Chomsky said: “most of the world countries including NAM members which contain 60% of the world population do not regard Iran as a global threat and respect the right of this country – as an NPT member – to develop its peaceful nuclear technology.”
“The Zionist regime has assaulted its northern neighbors five times and is building residential sections in occupied territories. Their arsenal contains approximately hundreds of nuclear bombs and 200 to 400 nuclear warheads. This is the real threat to the regional and global safety”, said Chomsky.
He also added: “countries such as China, Russia and India dissent with America’s approach to Iran. Even Americans respect the right of Iran to benefit from peaceful nuclear technology. The U.S who introduces Iran as a global threat is the first country to use weapons of mass destruction against Iraq in the 21st century.”
