(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - President of the Republic of Uganda stated in NAM summit that the colonialism happened in Africa; because, of internal weakness of the African countries.
“Four languages can be seen in all African countries. There were some relations among these countries; However, the absence of political solidarity among African countries led to the colonialism of Africa. Colonialism harmed Africa badly and weakened the local industries. Following the World War II, the imperialist countries tried to pursue their policies in China, India, and some parts of Africa; and their attempts proved fruitless, of course”, specified Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
“Today, the Western imperialism aspires to take control of the third world countries, and seeks to establish different bases all around the world. If there appears to be any despotism and arrogance in any country, it can be eradicated by the liberalists of that country”, he continued.
Referring to different revolutions in the world such as ones happened in Tunisia and Egypt, he concluded: “the real revolutions are not in need of any external support.”
