(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - “Foundation of peace is much deeper and stronger than that of war and all of us should work on all aspects of peace to reach the lasting peace”, Thailand foreign minister said.
Mr. Surapong appreciated presidency of Egypt and congratulated Iran's presidency and cited: “lasting peace and security was discussed in Bandung meeting. Some of the discussed issues got included in NAM goals.”
“We are facing with new issues and difficulties; environment degradation, national and international crimes, economic crimes are some of the issues to be solved through cooperation and management”, he added.
Thailand's foreign minister said: “, international organizations have a key role in this regard and NAM's role is of higher importance. We should use the diversity of NAM members in this regard".
“Thailand government believes in negotiation and argues that dialogue is the only way to settle disputes”, he added.
“We are concerned about the Syria crisis, We also have sent a diplomatic delegation to Palestine to see if they could settle the disputes through dialogue and negotiation”, he noted.
