(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The detainees who had spent months in the General Intelligence Prison in Dammam, called for releasing political prisoners, political reform and abolishing sectarian discrimination against Shiites.
The released detainees are:
1- Shah Ali Isa Shokan, from Tarout island in Qatif city.
2- Hussain Ali Abdullah, from Awwamiyah town in Qatif city.
3- Ali Mohammad Mahdi Al Khalfan, from Rebe'yah town in Qatif city.
4- Ali Abdul Hussain Al Rebeh.
5- Montazar Abdul Hussain Al Rebeh.
6- Mohammad Abdul Hussain Al Rebeh.
Most of the released detainees were subjected to torture in the General Intelligence Prison in Dammam.
For example, the released detainees" Morad al-Mekhlef" infected of palsy, and transferred to Qatif hospital; "Mosa Ja'far al-Mabyouq" subjected to severe torture; "Sayyid Mohammad Taher al-Shemimi" released with inability to control body movements and lost the ability to talk.
