(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - An Iranian Friday prayer leader said while the US and its allies, invaded Afghanistan under the pretext of an anti-terrorist war, intensifying terrors and higher production of narcotic drugs have been their only achievements.
Hujjat-ol-Islam Ali Akbar Akrami, Friday prayer leader of Sarab in the Northeastern Province of Ardabil referred to some of the latest surveys issued by international research centers announcing a 400 times increase in production of drugs in Afghanistan since US occupation of the country.
Religious figure counted funding terror attacks through higher production and smuggling of narcotics and also channeling the terrors are among the objectives of US in occupying Afghanistan and said,”We should not ignore the hands of the domineering systems in indiscriminate terror attacks in Islamic countries.”
Orator at Sarab Friday prayer criticized close relationship between American spying agencies and drug cartels and added spreading drug addiction among the youth in Muslim countries is among the main aims of the aliens.
This is while Afghanistan has been ranked as the capital of illicit drugs in the world and according to some international research centers it will remain the World’s opium capital under western occupation.
