A Delegation from Tunisia Visiting Al Abbas Holy Shrine + Pic

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A delegation including the followers of the Ahlulbayt AS from Tunisia visited Al Abbas Holy Shrine Friday 21 Jumada I – Apr. 13, 2012. Once the delegation arrived at the holy city of Karbala, they got honored by visiting Al Abbas Holy Shrine and met the Secretary General of the Holy Shrine, Sayed Ahmed Al Safi and some of the member of the Administration Council.After that, the delegation listened to the statement of Sayed Ahmed Al Safi as he stressed the leading role Tunisia plays on the Arab and Islamic aspects adding: it is a good chance to meet you in Iraq, in your second city Holy Karbala. Tunisia is of the countries that raised the banner of Islam following the religion of Islam. It is of the countries that once you mention it, you will remember the poet Abul Qasim Al Shabi.Explaining: the will of man is strong by depending on God Almighty and can open many things for him, as imam Ali says (a will revived a nation). If man lived in luxury, he would feel that he is living a falsehood, and this is the mind of man.Sayed Al Safi explained: we live now in condition of having fun in the Islamic past, rather than living in the bitterness of our reality. I consider that a state of idleness. It is a useless way of living.Adding: we, as Muslims, lost many of our identity, and with that loss, we are proud of the early Muslims that sacrificed purely for Islam, and we are definitely following them.For his part, the delegation explained that the aim of this visit is to get nourished by faith from the spiritual atmosphere in the holy shrines, and to give a pure image of the Tunisian, and this visit is to be the key to other visits.At the end of the meeting, Sayed Ahmed Al Safi listened to the question and notes of the members of the delegation including opening the communication aspects with the holy shrines in Karbala and Tunisia in different fields, in addition to sending the Tunisian student to study in the Najaf Religious School. /129
