(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Police said that death toll from the Sunday’s deadly blast in Khanpur city now reached 21. Over 30 devotees had been injured in the incident.
Police Monday recovered a bomb near the site of the yesterday’s blast. The bomb disposal squad defused the bomb, a police officer said.
There is a complete shutter down in the area to condemn the terrorist act, which killed innocent people.
Lawyers also boycotted courts as a protest and to express solidarity with the bereaved families.
A large number of Shia Muslims have started a protest sit-in to push the demand for the arrest of the culprits of the attack, saying they would continue protests until the masterminds of the attack are arrested.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Health officials said that death toll from the blast has reached 21 as more injured died of wounds in hospitals.
