(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - He referred to the growing wave of Islamic awakening in the region and said that the demonstrations by the Egyptian people in front of the Zionist regime embassy in Cairo and their anti-US and anti-Zionist slogans is indicative of the growing anti-hegemonic front.
He further praised the massive turnout of people in Iran and other Islamic countries on the occasion of the world Quds day and said that a new front is opened on this year’s world Quds day and added that the Egyptian people held rallies on the world Quds day for the first time after the collapse of Hosni Mubarak’s regime and chanted anti-Israeli slogans.
Tehran’s interim Friday prayer leader also touched upon the sanctions imposed on Iran and said that the Iranian nations’ foes did not manage to achieve their goals through launching a war or sowing seeds of discord and they also failed to attain their goals by imposing sanctions and the Iranian nation emerged proud and victorious.
He also expressed regret over the problems of drought and famine in Somalia and called on Iranians to continue their philanthropic help to the famine-stricken people in Somalia.
