(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Al-Wefaq political society issued a statement on Tuesday refusing the government prosecution of civilians in military courts, affirming its opposition to the trial of civilians detained for political causes before military courts, and stressed that these detainees were arrested because of their peaceful political expressions during the popular protests that swept Bahrain since last February and continues until today. Al-Wefaq accentuated its concerns regarding re-trial of civilians with the political issues at the military court even though a royal decree in July referred all such case to civil courts after the worldly concerns and criticisms about the trials before military courts and what was happening in those trials. But that was done only for a brief period and then returned again to the military courts, expressing its surprise to change of law by the stroke of a pen."We reiterate demands of release of all political prisoners, who only expressed their political opinions" Al-Wefaq expressed, asserting that the release of all detainees who expressed their opinions with regard to political affairs of their homeland is a national necessity./129
