A photo exhibition titled “Imam Khomeini In Mirror of Pictures” has been opened in Qatari capital of Doha.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A photo exhibition titled “Imam Khomeini In Mirror of Pictures” has been opened in Qatari capital of Doha.

 According to the public relations office of the Iranian embassy in Qatar, the exhibition has been mounted by the embassy on the occasion of Imam Khomeini’s (RA) 22nd demise anniversary.

 It was launched in a ceremony attended by governor of Khorasan Razavi province Mahmud Salahi, Iranian ambassador Abdollah Sohrabi, and Iranian cultural attaché Seyyed Ali Emamzadeh, as well as cultural figures, Shia and Sunni scholars and other groups of people.

 Giving a speech at the event, Mr. Emamzadeh referred to different aspects of Imam Khomeini’s character and the effects of the Islamic movement in Iran and the Islamic world, stressing the need for the youth to get familiar with Imam Khomeini’s (RA) ideas and works.

 The exhibition features photos of the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran in different sections of his life from his youth, to the events of the revolution, up to his demise and people’s massive presence in his funeral.

 On display is also a collection of Imam Khomeini’s works in different fields including Fiqh (jurisprudence), religion, politics and society.
