(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Qom prayer leader visits Turkish deputy of foreign ministry, stressing the role of Turkey in bringing unity and awakening Muslim nation and noted Islamic awakening as the ground for Islamic unity.
Hujjatul Islam Seyyed Mohammad Saeedi, Qom interim Friday prayer leader met with Bülent Arınç, Turkish foreign ministry deputy and highlighted the role of Turkey in aiding Islamic awakening and bringing unity to Muslim nation.
"Islamic awakening, which has broken out in different countries, is a promising token that Islamic unity will realize again." said trusteeship of Hazrat Masouma(AS) and referred to the efforts of the enemies to wage sedition among Muslims. Bülent Arınç on his part highlighted Iranian holy city of Qom as a base and sanctuary for Muslims.
Holy city of Qom is 156 kilometers southwest of Tehran being a hub of tourism and a prominent pilgrimage spot for Muslims from around the world.
