(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Fully familiar with Arabs’ tradition and culture, Imam Musa Sadr was considered as Imam Khomeini’s (RA) close assistant in the affairs Arab states, helping to introduce the Islamic Revolution in the Muslim world.

This is according to the head of Tehran Islamic Municipal Council, Mehdi Chamran, addressing journalists at a press conference following a forum organized in praise of Imam Musa Sadr.

Expressing his hope concerning the return of the missing senor cleric to his country, he regarded Moammar Qaddafi responsible for disappearance of Imam Musa Sadr some 32 years ago.

An international tribunal is due to be held to put Qaddafi on trial for the crimes and murders he has been committing against the Libyans since the recent uprising, he noted, adding that the Islamic Republic of Iran should also sue Qaddafi for his role in the disappearance of Imam Musa Sadr.
