(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Lebanese Prime Minister Designate Najib Mikati told U.S. Senators John McCain and Joseph Lieberman that "Lebanon has nothing to do with the External part of the STL, while on the internal part, the Lebanese need to resort to dialogue."

According to As-Safir daily, in response to McCain and Lieberman's question about Hizbullah's participation and shares in the future government, Mikati stressed that "Hizbullah is an integral part of the political and social structure, and is a power in the Lebanese Parliament and represents a wide section of the Lebanese society."

The two senators were in Lebanon Tuesday to meet with Lebanese officials, where they held talks with Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblatt in the presence of U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Maura Connelly.
