"Assassination of the Iranian scientists by enemies indicates a fear of the country's progress towards independence," Najjar said, speaking to reporters in Iran's Northern provincial capital city of Sari on Tuesday.
He blamed Zionist-affiliated elements for the recent attacks on the lives of the Iranian university professors, and stressed that the moves are aimed at undermining the Iranian youths' further advancement on the path of development.
Meantime, Najjar stressed that the Zionists and the world arrogant powers, including the US and a number of the European countries, have repeatedly acknowledged Iran's rapid move towards progress.
"Hence, they are trying to stop this move (of Iran) through threats," the Iranian minister noted.
The remarks by Najjar came a day after Two Iranian university professors Fereidoon Abbasi Davani and Majid Shahriari were assassinated in separate terrorist bomb attacks here in Tehran with the latter killed immediately after the blast.
Another Iranian university professor and nuclear scientist, Massoud Ali Mohammadi, was also assassinated in a terrorist bomb attack in Tehran in January.
Iranian officials took the Zionist regime of Israel and US hirelings inside Iran responsible for the terrorist operation.
