LUCKNOW, India (Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Shia clerics Maulana Kalbe Jawwad and Maulana Agha Roohi were arrested a short while ago in Lucknow after commotion erupted at the special meeting of the board of Shia Degree College. The meeting was called to commemorate martyrdom of Imam Baqer (pbuh).
Tension gripped large parts of the old city Sunday following prolonged clashes between the police and Shia Muslims protesting against the arrest of leading Shia clerics Maulana Kalbe Jawaad and Maulana Agha Roohi.
