According to Ahlul Bayt (A) News Agency – ABNA.ir – A terrorist bomb blast killed 12 innocent people and injured 82 others, mostly women and children, in the city of Mahabad in northwestern province of West Azarbaijan on Wednesday morning.
Talking to reporters, Moslehi expressed hope that the arrested agents would be put on trial in the next few days.
He reiterated that such attacks are masterminded by the global arrogance, and is aimed at sowing discord between Shiites and Sunnis.
The blast took place near the site of a military parade in West Azarbaijan Province, marking the anniversary of Iraq's 1980 invasion of Iran and honoring the country's eight-year Sacred Defense.
