"Islam is adapted to live in the modern globalized world," the mufti told journalists on Thursday evening at the opening of the Ramadan Pavillion at Poklonnaya Gora in Moscow.
According to him, it is not only impossible to change Islam, but there is no need to do it as its teaching gives Muslim a possibility to live "any time, in any community, among any cultures and traditions."
Gainutdin believes that "only good will of our partners is needed to do it, so that they knew Islam and cooperated with Islam."
