The function will be held at Imam Hassan Mosque in Esenyurt region of the city after the Maghrib and Isha prayers.
The ceremony will include lectures by Shia preachers, eulogies, Quran recitation and religious programs. The lectures will feature the virtues and grand character of the second Imam (AS).
The Imam Hassan Mosque’s board of trustees has invited those who love Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) to participate in the celebration.
Shia Muslims make up over 20 percent of the population in Turkey.
