The trade exchange volume with Iraq reached $6 billion last year, Iranian consul in Arbil said on Tuesday.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), The trade exchange volume with Iraq reached $6 billion last year, Iranian consul in Arbil said on Tuesday.

“The trade exchange volume between Iran and Iraq reached $6 billion, 60% of them with Kurdistan region,” Azeem al-Husseini told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

“Around 100 Iranian companies work in Kurdistan in different economic fields,” he noted.

“The presence of two crossing points facilitate the exchange as well as the great economic development in the region,” he said.
