Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia – The winners of the Holy Qur’an virtues competition were honored at a function at Red Sea Mall here Thursday evening.
The competition, sponsored by Okaz Organization for Press and Publication, was organized under the title “Because we love the Holy Qur’an, we will never ever abandon it” by the Qur’an for You group. The competition held from March 17 to April 14 consisted of questions about the benefits of reciting the Holy Qur’an and the best virtues that could be taken and applied in our modern life as well.
The Qur’an for You group consists mostly of volunteers and school students who memorized the Qur’an and are striving to apply its virtues and basics in their daily life. The group is supervised by the cooperative office for call and guidance to communities in Al-Hamrah District.
More than 400 people at the mall also filled out a questionnaire on how to resolve the problem of the abandoning of the Holy Qur’an by the new generation.
