AhlulBayt News Agency: In the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.), outward acts of worship without mastering anger and reforming one's character do not lead one to the goal of divine proximity. Imam Sajjad (a.s.) considers the contoroling of anger (kazm al-ghayz) to be among the fundamental foundations of spiritual growth, and emphasizes that moral virtues are attained through practice and self-discipline.
