January and February saw sharp increase of 20% in number of Israelis left Palestine
January and February saw a sharp increase of 20% in the number of Israelis who left occupied Palestine versus the same period last year, according to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics.
The figures show that 431,000 Zionists went abroad in the said months, versus 360,000 in the same period in 2009. Travel was significantly impacted by Zionist regime’s 22-day war in Gaza and the global financial crisis, Israeli daily Ynet reported.
The number of new immigrants arriving in 1948 Palestinian occupied territories went down in recent years.
