ABNA24 - Israeli strikes on a vehicle and motorcycle in southern Lebanon Friday evening killed at least one citizen and wounded others, marking a violation of the first day of the truce.
Lebanese media reported that one citizen was killed and three others were injured following a drone strike on a motorcycle traveling on the main road between the towns of Kounin and Beit Yahoun in southern Lebanon.
Israeli forces also fired an artillery projectile and bursts of gunfire at an ambulance team in Kounin, injuring some people.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army carried out large-scale demolitions using explosives in the towns of Taybeh, Deir Siryan, and Khiyam in the Marjayoun district.
The Israeli artillery also bombed the towns of Dibbin and Khiyam, with five projectiles falling on the latter, while two shells were fired towards the town of Buyout as-Siyad in the Tyre district.
Earlier on Friday, six Israeli soldiers were injured, two of them seriously, by an explosive device that detonated inside a house they had stormed in southern Lebanon.
The ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel came into effect at midnight Thursday/Friday after 45 days of Israeli aggression against Lebanon.
The agreement, intended to curb Israeli escalation and create space for a US-mediated negotiation process, is set to last for an initial period of 10 days.
