Iran fought on 12 fronts during 40-day war: Army commander

The Executive Deputy of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated that during the "third imposed war," Iran did not merely face the Zionist or American enemies, but fought on at least 12 different fronts, which demonstrates the power of the Islamic Republic.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Executive Deputy of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated that during the "third imposed war," Iran did not merely face the Zionist or American enemies, but fought on at least 12 different fronts, which demonstrates the power of the Islamic Republic.

in a speech marking Iran National Army Day on Saturday, Brigadier General Alireza Sheikh said: “No country that loses its highest leader and senior military commanders in an incident, could react with such speed, precision, and effectiveness, while simultaneously countering enemy aggressions in multiple fronts.”

The power of the Islamic Republic forced the opposing side to negotiate, he said. “In strategic literature, this is known as reaching ‘power parity,’ which means that when two sides reach an equality of power, the time for negotiation arrives,” the executive deputy added.

Brigadier General Sheikh emphasized that enemies must realize that one can’t enter a war against a country with such civilization, history, and demographic and cultural heritage using military components alone. “Therefore, I advise Iran's enemies to teach history, geography, and the history of civilization to their rulers so they do not fall into miscalculations.”

The 40-day war changed the world's military literature and can open a new chapter in the field of defense and defensive doctrine in the future, he concluded.
