He added, "Just imagine if we had spent that amount of money on improving workers' lives: how many teachers we could have hired, how many public housing units we could have built, how many bridges and roads we could have repaired."
In response, Trump quickly took to his phone and wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social, "Unfortunately, Mayor Mamdani is destroying New York City! This city has no chance!"
