AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Amir Saeid Iravani, the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations, in a letter to the UN Secretary-General and the President of the Security Council, rejecting Bahrain's claims, stated, "Physical debris recovered from the weapons used in the commission of aggression, identified in numerous affected cities, confirms that these weapons were part of the arsenals of certain governments on the Persian Gulf littoral."
Iravani, in a letter to António Guterres, the UN Secretary-General, and the Security Council on Tuesday local time, following claims made by Bahrain on behalf of a number of neighboring governments in the Persian Gulf region, stated, "The Islamic Republic of Iran categorically and completely rejects the allegations raised in the said letter as baseless and deliberately misleading."
The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations added, "Based on monitoring data and assessments conducted by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the aggressors have repeatedly used the territory and airspace of those governments for planning, preparation, arming, and execution of illegal military operations against the Islamic Republic of Iran."
