'One Voice Against Oppression': Massive Turkish Caravan Heads to Iran Border to Back Resistance

Hundreds of vehicles have taken to the streets of Iğdır in eastern Turkey, forming a massive solidarity convoy that traveled to the Iranian border in a striking display of grassroots support for the Islamic Republic and the Lebanese Resistance.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Hundreds of vehicles have taken to the streets of Iğdır in eastern Turkey, forming a massive solidarity convoy that traveled to the Iranian border in a striking display of grassroots support for the Islamic Republic and the Lebanese Resistance.

The rally, organized under the banner of "One Voice Against Oppression," underscores the deepening regional alignment against American-Israeli aggression in West Asia.

The convoy, estimated at approximately 500 cars adorned with the flags of Turkey, Iran, and Palestine, assembled in the Topçular neighborhood before snaking through the city center. Participants chanted slogans in defense of the oppressed nations of Iran and Lebanon and offered prayers before proceeding toward the Gürbulak border crossing.

"The Oppressed Are Not Alone"

Speaking at the outset of the rally, Veli Beder, Honorary President of the Ahlul Bayt Scholars Association in Turkey, framed the mobilization as a humanitarian and practical endorsement of the Axis of Resistance. "The aim of this action is to provide a tangible and visible demonstration of support for Iran and Lebanon. We will always stand firm against oppression," Beder stated. "This convoy has been formed to deliver the message that the oppressed nations are not alone."

Nurettin Şirin, Head of the Turkish Resistance Front, echoed this sentiment, calling for unwavering unity across the Islamic world to confront what he described as the forces of injustice and tyranny.

Symbolic 72-Member Delegation to Enter Iran

In a notable development with symbolic resonance, a delegation of 72 individuals—a number evoking the companions of Imam Hussein (PBUH) at Karbala—split from the main convoy at the border to cross into Iranian territory.

According to organizers, this delegation is scheduled to conduct official visits, traveling to Tehran and other Iranian cities to personally deliver messages of solidarity and support to Iranian officials and the nation. The move highlights the deep religious and ideological bonds connecting communities across the Turkish-Iranian frontier.

Security Measures and Public Attention

Given the massive turnout, Turkish security forces implemented extensive measures along the route and throughout Iğdır to facilitate the safe passage of the convoy. The long lines of flag-draped vehicles drew significant attention from residents, transforming the city's thoroughfares into a mobile demonstration of regional defiance against Western-backed militarism.

The event in Iğdır serves as the latest indication that public sentiment in Turkey, remains firmly aligned with the Resistance Front in the face of the ongoing war and occupation in the region.
