AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A commemoration ceremony for the 40th day of the martyrdom of Imam Sayed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, was held in Tanzania.
Sheikh Dr. Al-Hadi Moussa Salim, the head of the Tanzanian Reconciliation and Peace Association (JMAT-TAIFA), expressing condolences for the martyrdom of Imam Khamenei, said at the ceremony, "We ask God for mercy and prayers for the leader of the Ummah, Imam Sayed Ali Khamenei. God answered his prayer regarding what he loved; he loved martyrdom and asked it of God, and God granted him martyrdom."
He continued, “O Muslims, you must know that many of the challenges Iran faces today have one primary root: Iran's clear stance in support of the Palestinians. Other reasons raised against Iran are merely excuses; but the truth and reality are that Iran has been targeted because of its stand for the right of Palestine.”
The head of the Tanzanian Reconciliation and Peace Association, referring to the importance of taking a stand in Islam, stated, “Iran’s stance today has brought dignity not only to this country but also to the entire Islamic world. Today, every Muslim understands the issue of standing with Iran.”
