ABNA24 - In a powerful display of interfaith solidarity, prominent Shia and Sunni scholars gathered at the historic "Vali Asr" Mosque premises in Khulna, Bangladesh, to voice their unwavering support for the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mujtaba Khamenei.
The gathering, organized by the "Panj-Tani Association" and the "Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) Lovers Society of Bangladesh," also addressed the ongoing imposed war against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Unity under wise leadership
Speakers at the event emphasized the critical condition of the Muslim world and underscored the necessity of unity under wise and divine leadership. They condemned the various conspiracies orchestrated against Iran, particularly in the context of the current war, and declared their full solidarity with the Islamic Republic.
Hojatoleslam Shahabuddin Mashayekhi, representative of Al-Mustafa International University in Bangladesh, called for steadfastness against arrogant powers and urged Muslims to remain united under spiritual and divine guidance.
A leader who never compromised
Hojatoleslam Seyyed Ebrahim Khalil Rizvi, head of the Bangladesh Shia Scholars Council, paid tribute to the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, stating: "Our beloved Leader never compromised with oppressors. He attained martyrdom and met his Lord. We are certain that he remains alive through his blood – and this blood will create a great transformation in the world, sending a harsh message to tyrants."
He further noted: "The Islamic Republic of Iran has always stood firmly with the Palestinian nation. While the Zionist regime dreamed of a 'Greater Israel' encompassing parts of Jordan and even Saudi Arabia, Iran shattered that dream through its resistance."
Iran: The voice of the oppressed
Muhammad Musharraf Khan, former manager of Islamic Bank in Khulna, said: "We have witnessed the war between Israel and Palestine for years. America is the main supporter of Israel. Unfortunately, many Muslim countries have remained silent on Palestine – but the Islamic Republic of Iran is the only country that has seriously defended the rights of the Palestinian people."
Ruhul Amin Siddiqui, a senior lawyer from Khulna, added: "Today, the eyes of the world are fixed on Iran. As a messenger of peace, Iran can save the world from the hands of oppressors."
No negotiations with tyrants
Dr. Shahjul Hossain, a professor at Khulna University, recalled: "Yazidi-like groups had invited Ayatollah Khamenei to negotiate. But he, along with his family, drank the cup of martyrdom rather than sit at the same table with them. This steadfastness came only from the power of faith."
The necessity of Muslim unity
Sunni scholar Maulvi Alhaj Azizur Rahman Siddiqui stressed: "If the Muslim world were united today, with the resources and blessings God has given us, we could lead the world."
Maulvi Abdul Quddus, former professor of B.L. College in Bangladesh, declared: "In the battle between truth and falsehood, the front of truth will undoubtedly prevail – God willing."
Special prayer for Iran's victory
The gathering concluded with a special prayer for the security and peace of the Muslim nation, beseeching the Almighty for the victory of the Islamic Republic of Iran against all challenges, as well as for long life and success for its current Leader.
