Iran Judiciary chief offers condolences on IRGC Navy commander "Admiral Alireza Tangsiri" martyrdom

Iran’s Judiciary Chief Gholam-Hossein Mohseni Ejei has expressed condolences over the martyrdom of Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy.

ABNA24 - Iran’s Judiciary Chief Gholam-Hossein Mohseni Ejei has expressed condolences over the martyrdom of Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy.

The Head of the Judiciary added: "May the peace and mercy of God be upon him and the other martyrs of the current holy battle, and may curses be upon the leaders of the oppressive and aggressive regimes, the message reads.

Martyr Tangsiri inflicted heavy blows on the aggressors and strengthened Iran's defensive shield especially on the southern coast, to the extent that he eliminated the foolish notion of ground aggression, he said.

Undoubtedly, the comrades of Martyr Tangsiri in the IRGC Navy will continue the path of that exalted martyr with even greater strength, will neutralize any enemy aggression, he stated.

Earlier on Monday, the IRGC  announced the martyrdom of Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, commander of IRGC Navy, saying he lost his life due to wounds sustained in an attack during military aggression by the US and Israeli regimes.

According to the statement, the commander had been involved in efforts following strikes that Iranian officials say caused significant damage to enemy infrastructure and led to the shooting of a US fighter jet.

The IRGC said the commander succumbed to severe injuries after the attack.

The statement portrayed his martyrdom as part of a broader struggle against foreign military actions, describing Tangsiri as a brave soldier of the nation.
