Mawlavi Seyyed Ebrahim Fazel Hosseini, a member of the Supreme Council of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, congratulated the beginning of the month of Shawwal and Eid al‑Fitr. He prayed for the acceptance of the worship and devotions of the Muslims of the world and said:
“We ask Almighty God to bless the Islamic Ummah with this noble Eid al‑Fitr, to accept the acts of worship performed during Ramadan—including the Nights of Qadr and the blessed nights of this holy month—and to forgive the sins and shortcomings of the Islamic community after a month of servitude, granting joy and spiritual delight to our people through victory over the front of disbelief.”
Mawlavi Fazel Hosseini stated that Muslims should not forget **Zakat al‑Fitr** in support of the Islamic Ummah’s success. He emphasized helping the poor and the needy, standing by them, and making unity and proximity a guiding principle of their conduct.
This Sunni scholar noted: The Prophet of Islam says that a fasting person has two moments of happiness: first, at the time of breaking the fast, and second, when they meet their Lord and receive their reward. God Almighty has placed a celebration after every act of worship.”
He concluded by emphasizing: The arrival of Eid al‑Fitr strengthens the unity of the Ummah and removes minor differences. We hope that Almighty God will save the Muslims of the world—especially the noble nation of dear Iran and the oppressed Palestinians who these days are under the fire and oppression of America and the Zionists—and erase the Zionists from the page of history.”
