Ayatollah Ali Abbasi, the president of al-Mustafa International University has stressed importance of protecting the lives of Muslims emphasizing that the Iranian nation and military forces had no way but to resist against US-Israeli attacks.
The Iranian cleric, in a statement addressing al-Azhar University, asked on the reason why the Egyptian university failed to condemn the blatant aggression of Zionist Jews against an Islamic country.
He asked,” What does your silence mean as the Muslim nation of Iran is suffering extreme conditions” adding,” Don’t you think that your audiences will be challenged by the dual approach you follow.”
The Iranian cleric addressed the grand mufti of al-Azhar, Ahmed el-Tayyeb asking: Why should not the fatwa council of the Egyptian university does not remind the neighboring countries that they should not permit non-believer enemies use the its soil in a war on Muslims.
He warned that remaining silent amid the ongoing catastrophe will inflict serious damage to the Islamic nation.
